For one day only, relive the excess of this decade with a special screening of the 1984 Troma classic The Toxic Avenger!
To help celebrate The Toxic Avenger’s 40th Anniversary, director and producer Lloyd Kaufman will be hanging out at the Freak Bar before the movie begins where you can pick up the latest and greatest Troma merch. Following the screening, he’ll be joined by stars of the movie, Robert Prichard (Slug) and Gary Schneider (Bozo) for a Q&A moderated by Coney Island USA’s Artistic Director, Adam Rinn.
Let’s see if you got any guts…tease up your hair and show up in your best 1980’s finery…yeah, we mean neon, spandex, big shoulder pads, and your favorite Twisted Sister t-shirt for an unforgettable day in Coney Island. The best dressed will win a rad prize pack.
But wait, there’s more…our Retro Arcade video games will be set to free play all afternoon and we’ll have special sideshow performances right before the screening.
