Coney Island Circus Sideshow

The world-famous Coney Island Circus Sideshow is the only place in Coney Island where you can enjoy live family-friendly entertainment in an air-cooled theater. Our family-friendly shows feature classic sideshow acts and cirque feats presented by New York's finest and most talented sword swallowers, fire eaters, glass walkers aerial and variety artists.

The next chance to catch the Sideshow will be Memorial Day weekend when we open for the 2024 summer season!

Freak Bar

Freak Bar, Photo by Norman Blake

With its kitschy-cool vibe, vintage arcade games, jumping jukebox, and infamous Tchotchke Wall, it doesn’t get more “Coney Island” than this! You can also check out the pop-up exhibitions by local artists, and catch a glimpse of Coney Island USA’s mascot, Sideshow Cat!

Hours of the Freak Bar are dependent on the programming schedule -

The Freak Bar will open at 12pm on days the Coney Island Circus Sideshow is running.

Days where there is only evening programming, the Freak Bar will open at 6pm.

The Freak Bar closes at 8pm when there is no evening programming, and open late when there is evening programming.
