Join us as we celebrate New York’s Juiciest Jewesses, The Schlep Sisters, 20 Years of Burlesque Sisterhood! The Schlep Sisters, Minnie Tonka and Darlinda Just Darlinda, are long lost sisters who found each other while tracing the roots of Yiddish Theater and Vaudeville on the Lower East Side, and in 2004 they hit the stage at the legendary House of Collection in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for their first performance.
The Schlep Sisters have toured internationally with their troupe Dangerous Curves Ahead: Burlesque on the Go-Go as well as gracing stages together across Australia, Germany, Canada and Finland. They have produced countless productions celebrating their schleppy love and Jewish culture, such as The Annual Menorah Horah Hanukkah Burlesque Show, The Burning Bush vs The Second Coming as well as many shows at Coney Island USA Burlesque at The Beach. The Schlep Sisters have dazzled audiences regularly at The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in Las Vegas and at The New York Burlesque Festival. They were featured in the 2017 Documentary “Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story.”
This 20th Anniversary burlesque blowout features The Schlep Sisters most popular burlesque acts over the span of two decades and they have invited their longtime fun-loving burlesque family members to bring the house down! The evening includes performances by the world-class Schlep Sisters – Minnie Tonka and Darlinda Just Darlinda – and premier burlesque stars Little Brooklyn, Jonny Porkpie, Anita Cookie, Hard Corey, GiGi La Femme, with Host Fancy Feast!
