Cemetery Cinema - Night of the Living Dead (1968)

Hosted by Carnivore AD frontman / comic book writer: Baron Misuraca, CEMETERY CINEMA makes its horrifying debut at Coney Island on Thursday, June 23rd with a special NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD screening event!

Directed by the legendary  George A. Romero, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is a great story of independent cinema: a low budget hit turned box-office smash that became one of the most influential films of all time. It is a bizarre tale of a trapped group of strangers who find themselves fending off hordes of recently dead, flesh-eating ghouls. It is a claustrophobic vision of a late 1960’s America literally tearing itself apart. It rewrote the rules of the horror genre and combined gruesome gore with social commentary. Stark, haunting and more relevant than ever, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD never dies.

After the film screening concludes, a question and answer audience participation discussion and a frightening facts segment will follow!
