Printmaker and Illustrator Donald David is inspired by classic horror movies, Halloween, vintage horror comics and German Expressionist woodcuts. His favorite medium for conveying graphic, shadowy images is linocut printmaking. As well as his work for Coney Island USA, his illustrations have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, the Wall Street Journal, Scholastic Books, DC comics, and other publishers.

You may have seen Donald’s work around Coney Island USA this year. He created the poster for the 2022 Congress of Curious Peoples event as well as the commemorative poster for the 2022 Coney Island Circus Sideshow season.
