Juan Carlos Pinto Art Show in the Freak Bar

In New York City, where the hustle reigns, And life is lived at breakneck pace and speed, One artist found a way to ease the strains, And create beauty from a common need.

Carlos Pinto, with MetroCards in hand, Constructed collages, intricate and bright, With patterns bold, and colors oh so grand, That captured the essence of the city's might.

For though the cards were used, and cast aside, Pinto saw the beauty in their design, And wove them into art, with skill and pride, To show the world a vision so divine.

And in these collages, we see a tale, Of memory and identity entwined, Of city life, and all its joys and frail, And of the beauty in the things we find.

So let us celebrate this artist's skill,
And the MetroCards that once were tossed away, For in these collages, we find the thrill,
Of art that brightens up our every day.
