Rollin' Coffin - "Heaven Knows"
Directed by The Jerry Farley, USA, Music Video, 3:45, World Premiere
From the Freak Bar to the Sideshow stage, Coney Island has a conflicted history that embraces the idea of outcasts and freaks in a dark spectacle of entertainment. Heaven Knows embodies a solitude within a crowd where only the skies above will know our true personal nature.

Tiny Dancer
Directed by Isabel Cama, USA, Drama Short, 16:06, NYC Premiere
It is the last day of summer vacation – the eve of Chiara’s annual parting. Loosely inspired by my own experiences, Tiny Dancer follows two sisters – one older, the other younger – on a special but fleeting adventure at the amusement park. The love they have for one another is in full force, and the differences in how they show that in full display. The inescapable feeling of grieving the present before it becomes the past surrounds them.

SAVING CONEY ISLAND
Directed by Mick Bongiovi, USA, Drama Short, 11:02, Brooklyn Premiere
An environmental activist is accused of having self-serving motives after she misses another beach clean-up at Coney Island.

SAVING CONEY ISLAND deconstructs one woman's life-long dedication to preserving the NYC beach that meant so much to her as a child. 15 years after first hearing about Coney Island, the now-ocean conservationist is forced to confront the real reason she cares so much about saving the beach.

Representing the magnitude of her emotions through the enormity of a dying environment wounded by pollution, SAVING CONEY ISLAND explores how one's personal traumas can feel as big and urgent as a global crisis.

Strays
Directed by Or Schraiber, USA, Drama Short, 12:46, Brooklyn Premiere
STRAYS is a short film in the tradition of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Jacques Tati. It tells the story of a Pakistani immigrant living alone in Coney Island. He spends his days driving people throughout the city. One day, a stray cat enters his life, bringing him the greatest gift of all - friendship.

Dérive
Directed by Lianne Sonia Walden, USA, Comedy Short, 19:53
Guided by posthumous instructions to release her ex-wife’s ashes, a reclusive book publisher embarks on a Surrealist odyssey (a dérive) across New York City, experiencing a series of spontaneous connections along the way that inspire her to engage the world anew.

Shangri-la
Directed by Dylan Gary, Ethan Maniquis, USA, Drama Short, 19:56, World Premiere
Aging showgirl Alice and her aspiring boxer lover Angelo are taking a midnight bus out of their crumbling seaside town. and toward Alice's last chance at her dream of becoming a respected, professional dancer... But first she'll need to get through her last night at the burlesque club, her meddlesome roommate Ruby and her own crippling self-doubt.

Inspired by the films of Doris Wishman and featuring a cast studded with fixtures of the NYC burlesque scene, Shangri La explores whether our dreams are stronger than our destiny.
