The heat of the summer is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with a Beach Zombie Look Alike Contest. Taking its name from Kings County Brewers Collective’s signature fruited sour, Beach Zombie, KCBC is partnering with the Coney Island USA, producers of the Mermaid Parade and the Coney Island Circus Sideshow for a costumed event the likes of which your eyes have never seen!

You don’t have to cake yourself in zombie prosthetics to participate, but it helps…The contest is open to all ages. Registration and viewing are free. 

Registration categories include:

Most Creative Cause of Death - Tire tracks, shark bite, blunt force to the skull, show us what your final moments on this mortal coil looked like.

Best Zombie Scream - Maybe you can’t look the part, but can you sound like one of them? We want to hear your zombie screech.

Pet Sematary - Dress up your undead pet for their chance to live this life again.

Most Decayed - Best in Show. 

Get creative and come out to celebrate summer…and while you’re out in Coney Island, check out the world famous Coney Island Circus Sideshow and the Coney Island Museum, and grab a drink at the Freak Bar, all housed inside of our landmarked building in the heart of the amusement district.

Amazing prizes from Coney Island and KCBC will be awarded for each category.

Registration begins at noon inside the break bar. Competition begins at 2:00 on West 12th St.
