The 42nd Mermaid Parade is in the books...and what a parade it was!
The colors, the spectacle, the creativity and the friendly and positive energy that filled the streets of Coney Island is a testament to all that attended, participated, sponsored and supported!
Many thanks to the team led by Jen Gapay for ensuring that the Mermaid Parade was a success! To all the Coney Island USA staff, board members, volunteers, friends and supporters: Thank YOU for making the Mermaid Parade the single most fun day of the year! And to the King And Queen: Joe and Whitney, you both truly capture all the mystical, magical and beautiful elements of what the parade royalty should be.
